Day 12

Today went pretty smooth! I did manage to not set my alarm to the correct time so I almost slept through work, but other than that it went really well. After I helped set up the chocolate bar I made ice cream popsicles. This is the task that everyone hates since the ice cream melts so fast and it takes so much time, however I enjoyed it! I put the popsicle sticks on the ice cream bars in the FREEZER! Doing this not only did I spend less time doing it but I also stayed nice a cool. This I believe will be the only way I can enjoy seasons if I decide to come back here and work here. I was supposed to run the chocolate bar again but when one of the girls heard this is what she would be doing she wanted to do the chocolate bar instead. Before I leave this department I have been told I will be making the ice cream pops again since everyone hates to do it. As I was leaving work auntie called me Barbie. I was shocked because I have never been called that before but apparently here that is a compliment. I love seeing the differences in culture and words here. It is hard to communicate with anyone in the kitchen because of an object being called something else, but I am getting used to it or look at someone that speaks better English that can translate for me. Apparently here wrestling is a big sport to watch because I keep getting asked if I watch wrestling that is one of the questions asked more often. While I was on the shuttle home I was talking to a lady about being new and how I will be here for six months and she goes oh well when you get a boyfriend he can show you around or something like that. I do not understand why having a boyfriend is on everyone's mind here I am not even twenty yet and I will only be here for six months but geez that is all they talk about haha. Anyway I believe that is all the events that have happened today and I am really getting a hang in the kitchen however my brain always dies when people start talking. Good Night :D
