Ah today was my first day of work! I had no idea what to expect besides knowing how the kitchens were run at school and it is nothing like that. It is much easier and I have someone helping me out through out the day so I do not mess up. The accents are hard still and it is very weird being some where where you do not understand a language being spoken. It is like being in Texas and the janitors start talking in spanish and you can some what understand what is being said, yeah it is not like that at all. I have no idea what is being said and at the end of the conversations I get what was said translated for me so I can participate, but it is not too bad. Today I helped finish the desserts for the chocolate bar. So much tasting gah my tummy is not going to like this but boy does everything taste fantastic! I found a fellow Austinian however you spell it, so my day was made. It will always be nice to find someone from back home :D. I will be on a strange schedule since it is 3:30 in the morning and I am writing this and I am still wide awake! Tomorrow shall be fun though I should be in the production area and learn how to make a few dishes! I will post pictures of some of the stuff I make hopefully tomorrow I forgot my camera today but here is a picture that is awesome. This is a skyline picture of downtown Singapore!
